About RenovaStairs
More than 25 years of experience in interior joinery. One craftsman for your staircase renovation, from advice at home to the very last step.
My story
From a passion for wood to my life's work
I am Marco Kroet, the craftsman behind RenovaStairs in Amersfoort. What started as a passion for wood and interiors has grown into my life's work: renovating staircases, laying floors and making bespoke interior work that fits your home perfectly.
I have more than 25 years of experience in high-end interior joinery. That is why I don't see a staircase or floor as a separate building element, but as a piece of furniture that has to blend in with the rest of your interior. Working to the millimetre and making perfect joins come naturally to me. By now I have renovated more than 500 staircases.
At a big company you are often just a number and see a different face every time. Not with me. I come round for the advice myself, take the measurements myself and fit everything myself. That way I keep the quality in my own hands and you have one point of contact, with short lines from start to finish.
“I treat every project as if it were my own home.”

Advice at home
The showroom in your own home
I don't believe in a showroom where colours look completely different from how they look in your home. That is why I bring the latest collections and samples to you, including Douwes Dekker, K-Stairs and MexForm, and skirting boards from Sfeerplinten. In your own light you can see straight away which colour and texture suit your furniture, doors and style.
During that free, no-obligation visit I also carry out a technical inspection of your staircase or subfloor. That way you get honest advice about what is needed and you know where you stand in advance. You often choose the same material for the staircase and the floor, so they flow seamlessly into each other.

“Marco is zeer professioneel! Duidelijke communicatie, dacht goed mee over de legrichting van de vloer (met het licht mee, had ik zelf niet aan gedacht) en heeft de vloer heel mooi gelegd. Ik heb met hem ook een aantal andere klussen voor onze zolder afgesproken, dus erg tevreden!”
