Staircase renovation Haarlem
In Haarlem I renovated a long staircase with a quarter turn at the bottom. After the stair runner was removed, bare treads with glue and paint residue appeared.
I planed off the old, protruding nosings so that the overlay treads fit tightly on the treads, including in the quarter turn around the newel. I then fitted wood-look overlay treads and gave the risers a crisp white finish.
The result is a light, fresh stairwell in which the wood-look treads add warmth. I am happy to visit you for free advice at home.
