Herringbone laminate Naarden
In an apartment in Naarden I laid herringbone laminate in the living room, the kitchen and the hallway. At the start there was only a bare floor alongside a large glazed wall, so the pattern had to be set out properly from scratch.
A herringbone floor takes more cutting and more time than straight planks. So I laid the underlay first and set out the pattern precisely, so the herringbone runs straight through the room and meets the glazed wall neatly. The pattern was then carried through the living room, hallway and kitchen step by step and finished with white skirting boards.
The result is a timeless floor full of character that runs through the whole apartment as one. The details at the glazed wall and the doors are crisp too. Thinking about a herringbone floor? I bring the samples, so you can see the colour in your own light.
