Renewing your stairs in Amsterdam
RenovaStairs renovates stairs in Amsterdam with PVC or laminate overlay treads, by closing an open staircase with made-to-measure risers, or by stripping and relacquering the existing stairs. In Amsterdam-Noord I turned a flaking, white-painted staircase into one with wood-look overlay treads, black anti-slip inlays, white risers and a new handrail. Elsewhere in the city I fully closed an open staircase and laid laminate floors in two flats.
My services in Amsterdam
From a steep canal-house staircase to the stairs of your upstairs flat
Amsterdam is known for narrow, steep stairs in canal houses and the typical stairs up to upper-floor and attic flats in last century's walk-up buildings. A steep staircase like that becomes safer with new treads and an aluminium stair nosing with ribbed anti-slip. Because I make every tread to measure, the renovation also suits crooked or uneven treads in old buildings. In a flat I lay laminate or PVC neatly around doors and frames, on a good underlay against impact noise for the neighbours.
Amsterdam, Amstelveen and beyond
I work in every district and in the surrounding towns, for example Amstelveen, where I fitted a made-to-measure wooden handrail with matching brackets, and Hoofddorp, where a worn white staircase was given wood-look overlay treads. For the consultation I bring my samples to your home, even if you live on the third floor. I inspect the stairs, measure up myself and carry out the work myself, without subcontractors.
